As an operating and outsourcing manager in a regulated payment institute, you will be working as a regulated control function by the FCA in a rapidly growing financial payment institution.

You will be expected to pass the FCA FIT test as a control function, own the organization regulated operating and outsourcing policies and processes, and/or other regulated businesses within the group of companies, Own & oversee the regulated operating function of the business.


You should have proven experience track record in the following working in a similar 2nd line role for at least 3+ years and have in depth understanding of the payment industry and related operating topics development and setup.


Your responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Act as a control function for the following policies 2nd line FCA regulated environment:
Customer service & account management, CSM reporting & BI, Service level management, Customer complaint management, 3rd party API agreements, Financial Services products, Mobile Web products, Online Payments products, Operational products, Safeguarding, Settlement, Onboarding, Channels partners, Payment Products, 3rd Party relationships management, merchant & consumer Terms and conditions updates and control, governance, MasterCard & Visa relationship, Warranty extension and HR policy and controls

  • Leading the execution of the Company's strategy, maintaining and driving operational results within the Company by overseeing the daytoday administrative and operational functions of the business activities, and ensuring that the Company is run in the most efficient way possible, thereby maximizing profits and customer satisfaction.
  • Strategize project growth possibilities, find new opportunities and manage the team from operational standpoint.
  • Evaluate current practices, processes and systems, highlighting performance and improvement opportunities and implementing solutions for achieving these.
  • Providing management to staff and leadership to the organization that aligns with the Company's business plan and overall strategic vision.
  • Assisting executive team members in creating, growing and building a world class, industry leading organization.
  • Track the processes and trends to ensure that the output of processes is achieving the desired results.
  • Partnering with the Managing Director to achieve favorable financial results with respect to sales, profitability, cash flow, systems, reporting and controls.
  • Creating effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external processes.
  • Working closely with senior management team to create, implement and roll out plans for operational processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and the Company policies in order to foster growth, profitably, productivity and efficiency within the Company.
  • Setting challenging and realistic goals for growth, performance and profitability, and overseeing its implementations.
  • Creating the structure and processes necessary to manage the Company's current activities and its projected growth.
  • Developing and carrying out business strategies, plans, policies and procedures.
  • Examining current business processes and policies and making necessary changes according to the best practices.
  • Preparing reports on a weekly and monthly basis relating to overall status of the Company's operations and whether objectives are being met.

Requirements:


  • 3+ years' experience in a regulated financial institution in a 2nd line role
  • 5+ years' experience in payment infrastructure
  • Proven track record in managing and implementing 2nd line strategies
  • Proven track record and understanding of the payment infrastructure
  • Strong management and leadership skills
  • Solution driven attitude and willingness to go the extra mile
  • Selfmotivated
  • Highly analytical; excellent problemsolving skills
  • Experience managing and developing a team
  • 3+ years similar level role leading an Operations & Outsourcing experience preferably at a growthstage startup or tech company.
  • Outstanding organizational, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
