Hours:
Full time, 35 hours per week


Salary:
£28,754 - £30,845 per annum depending on experience

  • EDP Drug and Alcohol Services are a thriving charity providing services across Devon and Dorset, in the community and within prisons. We're passionate about supporting individuals who face complex issues, including substance misuse, mental ill health, and other harmful, addictive and offending behaviour, to improve their lives._

We currently have an exciting opportunity for someone passionate and experienced in a recovery focused setting, to lead and manage our fantastic team of substance misuse practitioners in Newton Abbot.


We are looking for someone with ambition, enthusiasm and belief in the recovery focused treatment system to work as part of our management team.

You will support building a forward looking, dynamic and competent service with a culture of learning and continuous performance improvement.


You'll work to effectively manage and support practitioners, to ensure that individuals are able to access timely prescribing, psychosocial and recovery interventions when and where they need them in a warm, person-centred and welcoming environment.

Who we are looking for:


  • Have a good working knowledge of substance misuse, the treatments and interventions available.
  • Have knowledge of local and national guidelines relating to substance misuse services.
  • Have an understanding and experience of the principles of good management practice.
  • Be an effective communicator, you'll demonstrate excellent organisation and time management skills, confidently managing your own workload and supporting others to do the same.
  • You'll work flexibly, positively and proactively with others, both within your own team and external partners and organisations, to improve the service we offer to our clients.
