We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Partnership Officer within the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner on a 37 hour, full time, 18 month fixed term basis.


Within the role you will be supporting the local partnerships in strategy development to successfully deliver the Serious Violence Duty.


As a skilled communicator and influencer, you will be able to build productive relationships across a wide range of sectors, partnerships and stakeholders.


To be successful in this role, you will need to be a skilled communicator and influencer, you will be able to build productive relationships across a wide range of sectors, partnerships and stakeholders.

You will also need to be highly organised and manage competing priorities.


You will work closely with the Violence Reduction Network working with data and evidence to support the partnerships across Leicester Leicestershire and Rutland in the development and delivery of area-wide and locality-based strategies aimed at preventing violence and vulnerability.

Experience within a relevant field such as criminal justice, local government or the voluntary and community sector is essential.

This is a position which requires an ability to think and act strategically, develop purposeful and effective relationships with a range of stakeholders and deliver at pace.


It is important that you to have the experience and ability to lead a small team where you can organise and maintain workloads through prioritising and planning to achieve results.


The team operates a flexi policy together with a hybrid working pattern (minimum of 3 days a week in the office with other days split between home, office and community-based working as appropriate to role).

For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
