Location:
UK based Hybrid - ability to commute to London for client sessions/team building

Salary:
£30,000 - £40,000 per year depending on experience

As a Traffic Manager, you'll report to the Head of Service Design, and work closely with the Project Manager and wider Delivery Team to ensure the right people are in the right place, at the right time, delivering end-to-end client projects.

With a busy pipeline of projects, it's vital that you are comfortable juggling complex project plans simultaneously, while maximising available team resources to ensure all projects are delivered inline with Spotless' high standards.

This role is suited tosomeone who loves problem solving, collaboration and teamwork.

Future planning and forecasting is key to the success of this role, alongside deeply understanding the skill-sets and experience of our talented delivery team, matching them to suitable projects,and identifying potential skill gaps.


Primary responsibilities

  • Proactive management and ownership of all resource planning and allocation across internal and external projects; take a creative approach to planning and replanning project timelines to keep up with ever changing requirements;
  • Use your knowledge to put the right people on the right jobs according to their/abilities and ensure consistency of resource
  • Ensuring the team's personal objectives are represented in project planning activities alongside our business objectives and your view of the design output and identity of Spotless
  • Identify skills gaps to relevant managers and ensure existing team members are upskilled and given exposure to specific project work to support this;
  • Sourcing freelance resource as required and working closely with the People Manager to ensure successful freelancer onboarding;
  • Ensure all resources allocated are inline with client expectations, scope of work, timings and budget;
  • Maximising available internal resources for internal and external projects, reducing downtime and need for freelance support
  • Monitoring and producing accurate reporting on utilisation rates and workload;
  • Work closely with the Sales team and Heads of Research/Service Design to forward plan project timelines
  • Contribute to project pipeline and resource planning meetings, to advise on suitability of available internal resource, identify external resources required;
  • Suggest and implement process improvements in response to business requirements;
  • You will create project plans and be accountable for iteration planning, adding/tracking plans in our project management software
  • Run weekly timesheet reports to monitor actual and forecast project costs to the end of the project
  • Ensure the team are regularly completing timesheets and chase up missing time

Skills and Experience

  • Detailed knowledge and practical experience of project management methodology and practices
  • Excellent communication (spoken and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Good time management skills and the ability to deliver to deadlines
  • Highly motivated and selfmanaging
  • Experience working within a studio / agency creative environment
  • Google Enterprise Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides etc.)
  • Miro and use of Kanban boards
