We are seeking a versatile media academic with specialist knowledge of videogames to deliver key components of our innovative courses.


Initially you will be required to teach across a range of disciplines, including English, cultural studies and journalism modules with a growing focus on game studies and digital culture as we expand our curriculum in areas such as Esports and around the intersection of games, film-making and media technologies.


You will play a key role in devising and delivering curriculum and will be expected to make a contribution to our research culture, ideally in games studies - a key area of growth identified in our latest REF submission.

You will be a collaborative academic, keen to link up with industry partners and other regional stakeholders in keeping with our professions-facing culture.
