Scot JCB are looking for a Parts Sales Coordinator to join our Glasgow Head Office, reporting to the Assistant Parts Manager.

The Scot JCB Group is made up of Scot JCB, Scot Agri, SPS and SIA.


Scot JCB has been supplying and servicing JCB machinery throughout Scotland and the North of England for over 60 years.

We sold our first machine in 1956 and have grown into a highly specialised machinery distribution company operating through a network of 17 depots from Fraserburgh in the North East of Scotland to Carnforth in Lancashire.

Scot JCB is the largest JCB distributor in the UK and we pride ourselves on providing our customers with world class service.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Plan, implement and measure proactive marketing campaigns
  • Ensure all regional strategies are planned, agreed and implemented in line with overall business strategy
  • Work with the Assistant Parts Manager to set short, medium and long term retail growth plans
  • Implement and measure any new processes at depot level
  • Promote and proactively sell parts to meet customer needs
  • Work with the Service and Sales teams to ensure any linked sales opportunity is achieved
  • Build relationships with our customers and respond to any enquiries
  • Understand the Parts function from a customer/manufacturer perspective
  • Provide support to the Assistant Parts Manager on daily operational tasks
  • Relevant experience within the plant/agricultural industry, car industry or similar
  • Strong Excel and IT skills
  • Experience analysing data and preparing reports
  • Confident communication skills
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
  • The ability to get on with all different types of people in a fastpaced environment
  • A good understanding of the importance of excellent customer service and building rapport with customers
  • A positive outlook and outgoing approach
