Job Overview

The Job Role will Involve:


  • Processing payroll through our payroll system Qtac, and paying the employees monthly
  • Checking Timesheets accuracy against practice diaries and liaising with Practice Managers regarding discrepancies
  • Evaluating staff budgets across the practices and working with HR to review staffing levels
  • Processing of employee related expenses
  • Inputting new starters and leavers and contract amendments into the payroll software
  • Actioning P6 and student loan notices
  • Dealing with pension opt outs, auto enrolments and pension contributions.
  • Finalising payroll after payday including sending payslips and P45s, submitting RTI and Eps submission
  • Running end of the month payroll reports and end of year reports
  • Maternity and Paternity queries and letters regarding SMP and SPP
  • P32 summaries
  • Creating new timesheets each month
  • Monitoring holiday entitlements
  • Liaising with accountants and auditors
  • Answering payroll queries
  • Coordinating the administration around leavers arrangements
  • Highlighting to HR management action that needs to be taken regarding sickness and absence trends
  • Keeping up to date regarding employment law changes

About the role

  • Full time, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm
  • Based in an office, with hybrid flexibility
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays (Extra day of holiday for each year of employment up to 25 days)
  • 3month probation period

Requirements for the role

  • Must be able to commute or looking to relocate near Crawley
  • Experience in data analysis and the ability to use Microsoft Excel
  • At least 1 years' experience in a payroll or HR role
  • Strong level of PAYE knowledge
  • Organisational skills and ability to work towards deadlines
  • GCSE grade C/4 or above in English and Math essential

£25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
