Motor Claims Handler (based in Cheadle) £22-£25k. Hybrid working. Mon-Fri.


Innocent Driver is a Motor Claims Service provider, dealing with non-fault claims for Commercial insurance brokers, fleet clients, repairers and members of the public.

Our team a based all around the UK. Our head office is in Glasgow city centre and we have another office in Cheadle.

Who is Innocent Driver?

Innocent driver helps people to get their vehicles repaired following an accident. We also provide replacement hire vehicles and can help clients with their personal injury claims.

Focus of the Role


The successful applicant will be responsible for handling claims from start to finish and will deal with all aspects of our clients' claims.

Another key part of the role is developing and managing business relationships with our client base.

  • Must be organised and comfortable with maintenance of key information on all accounts

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, proactively seek out, take ownership and continually deliver on claims while enthusiastically building client relationships
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth on boarding process
  • Effectively managing a pipeline of claims, and accurately report progress through our CRM
  • Working closely with the sales team to provide partners with a seamless operational service.

The Essentials

  • Previous motor claims experience. Third party, liability and recoveries experience are a must. Also, a knowledge of the vehicle repair process and credit hire would be helpful.
  • IT Literacy in Microsoft Office packages and previous experience of a CRM system would be an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

The Desirables

  • A proven track record in claims handling with broker and commercial clients would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge and deployment of an endtoend claims process would be desirable
  • Excellent reporting & networking skills.
  • Proven track record in achieving claims targets within specific deadlines.

5 week rotating shift pattern:

Week 1:
Mon to Fri 8am-4pm

Week 2:
Mon to Fri 8am-4pm

Week 3:
Mon to Fri 9am-5pm

Week 4:
Mon to Fri 9am-5pm

Week 5:
Mon to Thu 9;30am to 6:30pm, Fri 10am to 1pm


Pay:
£22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
