Description
A fantastic new opportunity for an Offshore Field Supervisor to join a well-established company on a Permanent basis.


This position will involve working on site with standard downhole tool strings including Plugs, MHA's including Mills, cleanout and fishing tools, on site customer relations and up sales and other basic duties.


Responsibilities:


  • Keep and prepare accurate delivery tickets, job logs, time sheets, toolbox meetings and run sheets
  • Advise and support customers on proper procedures and tool capabilities and their corresponding data and requirements
  • Understand load securement, journey management, hazardous material handling and GHIS, hydrogen sulphide exposure prevention, petroleum safety awareness, fall protection regulations
  • Make up BHA tool drawings
  • Establish difference between differential and off bottom pressure for positive displacement motor operations
  • Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job
  • Use correct methods in accordance with the established procedures and schedules while ensuring analytical quality

Requirements:


  • Required to work on a 24 hours on call basis
  • Clean Driver's Abstract and Valid driver's license
  • Cooperate fully with Reservoir Group to help aid achievement of our QHSE policy and objectives and to carry out work as per the requirements of the QHSE management system
  • Oilfield service experience including pumping services, electric wireline, fishing and downhole tools is an asset
  • Thorough knowledge of all Well Intervention tools, their specifications and uses and all Well Intervention services
  • Able to understand and calculate flow rates, run rates, usage, velocities, volumes, forces and pressures
