ATF Screeds are currently seeking a full-time experienced bookkeeper to join our team based at our premises in Birmingham International Airport trading estate.

Your duties will include:

• Maintaining sales ledger accounts
• Reviewing purchase ledger accounts
• Processing receipts and payments
• Bank reconciliations and posting bank transactions via Xero
• Calculating and submitting VAT returns
• Calculating and submitting CIS returns
• Assisting the company accountants at year end
• Preparing monthly management reports
• Additional ad hoc administrative tasks as required
• Posting wages journals
• Ensuring work is completed in a timely manner and deadlines met

About You

• You will have an excellent knowledge of Xero and all aspects of bookkeeping
• A good working knowledge of MS Office including excel

Qualifications

• AAT or equivalent
• Minimum 2 Years' Experience
• Some knowledge of the construction industry would be useful but not essential
• Strong organisational and communication skills

Schedule

• 4 days a week, days to be confirmed

• Hours to be agreed, standard 8am 4.30pm

Salary
£12 - £15 per hour
