This role is part of Immersive, which is focused on enabling the Market Hall to realise its potential as a world class immersive centre providing specialist facilities, space, activities and opportunities to engage people with the potential of immersive technologies, supporting them to develop skills, make content and sell products, growing businesses and creative careers.

Immersive will be a lynchpin in the Far SW Immersive Cluster, a key player in the local ecology and is looking to develop related immersive facilities at Liskeard Library.


Job Purpose


The Immersive Admin and Social Media Assistant plays a key role in the Immersive team, supporting the smooth delivery of our services, facilities, and programmes.

This includes providing administrative support, particularly linked to ticketing, and ensuring we maintain a high profile for all activities on the appropriate social media platforms.


The Immersive Admin and Social Media Assistant will work closely and flexibly with other members of the Immersive team, to ensure the overall success of Immersive and maximise opportunities for shared learning, innovation, and growth.


Main duties and responsibilities

  • Source, create and share content to maintain an effective and high profile on all relevant social media platforms and newsletter that measurably leads to sales and participation.
  • Use analytical tools and provide evidence to report on performance of social media campaigns.
  • Provide administrative support to the team to ensure 'best' use of our systems, particularly Hubspot, Eventbrite and other key systems and processes to enable us to reach and serve customers more effectively.
  • Manage access cards, printing and other practical tasks as required.
  • Respond and action basic customer and member enquiries.
  • Provide support for events and activities, as required.
  • Liaise with team, including hosts and member technicians to maximise effective storytelling and communication to our different audience.
