Description

This is an exciting opportunity to add your personality, enthusiasm, and expertise to our Selby Town Primary Care Network (PCN) Mental Health Team.

You will work alongside our two existing Band 7 Mental Health Practitioners delivering first contact appointments to patients based in our GP surgeries.

The role will give you significant autonomy whilst being well supported by both the PCN and TEWV.

It will also provide opportunities for teaching, developing leadership skills and being involved in the transformation of local mental health care delivery.


Improving Mental Health Care has always been a top priority for Selby Town PCN, alongside its pioneering work on population health and health inequalities.

We have developed great relationships with our system partners, exploring new and innovative ways of working together to improve the health and wellbeing of our population.


The role will give you significant opportunity to develop your leadership skills becoming involved in Adult Community Mental Health Transformation and working closely with our local statutory and voluntary sector partners.

You will be involved in teaching, training, and upskilling of both GP practice staff and wider system partners.
