Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Behaviour Support

Are you experienced in working with challenging behaviour, in any professional setting? Perhaps you have worked in
care,
prison services or as a
social worker?


Tradewind are supporting a primary school based in Trafford in recruiting a Behavioural Support Assistant to work alongside students with an EHCP.

This is a full-time role starting as soon as possible and lasting until at least the end of the academic year.


The school is seeking an experienced Behavioural Support Assistant to work on a one-to-one basis with a child with social, emotional and mental health needs.

To be considered for this position you must have a proven track record of supporting pupils with behavioural needs, have strong interpersonal skills; be able to engage pupils on an individual basis and understand the specific needs of each child.


This role will include:

  • Supporting pupils with behavioural difficulties
  • Taking responsibility for the safeguarding of the young people in your care
  • Supporting the school team to provide a safe and respectful environment for students to learn
