Role:
IT Technician


Salary:
up to £35,000 per annum (+ benefits)


Location:
Newcastle (hybrid work - 4 days in office)


Duration:
Permanent


Reporting into the IT Manager, the IT Technician will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the organisations IT systems through the administration and maintenance of the network/server infrastructure.

You'll also be working closely with the IT Manageron major IT projects including system upgrades and security initiatives.


What you'll need:


  • Experience within a 2nd line support or similar handson IT support role
  • Strong experience of maintenance, installation, repair and upgrade of server and network equipment
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft OS/Microsoft stacks
  • General networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN)
  • Experience/knowledge with SQL server (desirable)
