Job summary
We have an opportunity for a Specialist Optometrist (Band 7) to cover a career break. This six-month fixed term role involves working up to 30 hours per week at St Paul's Eye Unit in Liverpool.We provide comprehensive eye services with hospital optometrists involved in most services. We work collaboratively and multidisciplinaryly to deliver ophthalmic care.
We support career development and higher professional qualifications.
The successful applicant will be based at the new Royal Liverpool University Hospital.
Experience as an Optometrist with specialist knowledge across various procedures is essential.- To record own clinical data and take responsibility for information systems within one service;
- To regularly carry out Research & Development activities;
- To act independently guided by occupational policies/regulations;
