Hotel Receptionist - Sutton Coldfield, United Kingdom - Suburban Inns

We are a 21-room hotel, based in Sutton Coldfield. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a "Can Do" attitude to join our lovely reception teamDuties Include:
- Ensure that you provide an exceptional experience for your guests throughout their stay
- Checkin and checkout of guests
- Take payments
- Ensure the reception area is presentable
- Assign rooms according to guests' requests, whenever possible
- Handle guests' requests and complaints in a professional manner
- Communicate with the housekeeping team to ensure the high standards or cleaning are being maintained.
- Report any maintenance issues to your Manager
- Take deposit and room hire fee payments for events and table bookings
Preferred skills:
- Experience is preferable but not essential
- Must be flexible with regards to hours
- Ability to work on your own or work as a part of a team
- Use your own initiative
- Have good written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to work under pressure
- Be organized and demonstrate attention to detail.
Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week
Salary:
£10.42 per hour
