Organization Description:


The Treasury and the Chief Investment Office (TCIO) within JPMorgan is responsible for firm wide asset and liability management for one of the world's largest global financial institutions with a $2.5 trillion balance sheet, including more than $900 billion in loans and $1.4 trillion in deposits.

Because it sits at the very center of the firm, TCIO directly influences the composition of the firm's balance sheet as well the activities of the firm's four main lines of business (LOBs): Asset & Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, Corporate & Investment Bank, and Consumer & Community Banking.


Business Description:


The Capital Product team within the TCIO function is responsible for maintaining the infrastructure required to support the calculation and reporting of Capital and other Capital-related disclosures such as Leverage, Large Exposures etc.

The team partners closely across JPMC functions including Technology, Capital Management, Capital Production & Operations and Lines of Business to deliver key priorities for the Firm including the implementation of ongoing regulatory changes and the ongoing development of the platform.


Job Title - Global Capital Product - Project Manager/Officer (PMO)

  • Effectively support the management of multiple projects of varying complexity, and help establish and manage a structured governance framework to govern projects
  • Continuously monitor programme & project's status, create and distribute the project scorecards, as well as communicate impacts to Finance & other key stakeholders
  • Detailed programme & project planning, support and execution utilising agile/hybrid methodology
  • Define and direct project objectives, requirements and goals. Develop scope and deliverables, build timelines and set project milestones
  • Adhere to deadlines, organize and prioritize work
  • Ownership, transparency and escalation of risks and issues when they occur on a timely basis
  • Resolve conflict through expert collaboration and broad decisionmaking
  • Effectively manage influence and motivation upward and downward
  • Identify project benefits and establish project success criteria
  • Chair and facilitate steering committee & other relevant governance meetings with senior executives and stakeholders, where needed
  • Work closely with other project managers and team members to ensure that there is an efficient framework for seamless team collaboration and communication among team members, on both the business and technical side

  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships with colleagues and desire to learn quickly, be flexible and think strategically
  • Experience and working knowledge of both traditional waterfall and Agile methodology, including use of JIRA & Confluence
  • Good understanding of the Project Lifecycle
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • MS Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
  • Nice to have:
  • Change experience delivering regulatory capital changes including Basel
