    Principal Fire Engineer | London | Permanent

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop comprehensive fire strategies, incorporating drawing reports and assessments to ensure building safety.
    • Manage projects from inception to completion, overseeing key milestones and deliverables.
    • Conduct thorough fire risk, FRAEW, and DSEAR assessments to identify potential hazards.
    • Prepare detailed fee proposals that meet client expectations.
    • Create compelling fire statements that inform stakeholders of risk mitigation measures.
    • Provide support at the feasibility stage, ensuring clients are well-informed about project scope and requirements.
    • Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering their growth and development.

    Requirements:

    • Possess a degree in Engineering (Fire, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, or similar)
    • Hold relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of fire engineering principles.
    • Be fully licensed to drive in the UK.
    • Knowledgeable about regulatory frameworks, codes, and standards related to fire engineering.
    • Proficient in computer software applications.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams.
    • Member of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE), with working towards or achieved an IEng or CEng qualification.
