Senior GC&E Executive

(Prior relevant experience in a Catering Sales environment required)


As a Senior GC&E Executive in The Biltmore Mayfair you will be responsible for ensuring consistent quality of customer service is provided to the guests in accordance with the Luxury Standards.


To provide guests with a memorable stay experience that is personalized to their needs, throughout their stay at the hotel by ensuring that the team is responding efficiently to their inquiries and advising them of the amenities and benefits offered by the hotel.


Key information:


  • Role: Senior GC&E Executive
  • Salary: £32,550 p.a. + benefits
  • Hours: 40 hours weekly

Senior GC&E Executive will have:


  • Positive attitude commitment to delivering a high level of customer service and confident telephone manner
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively under time and resource constraints
  • Demonstrated previous experience working in a Sales environment

Senior GC&E Executive key responsibilities:


  • Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue
  • Maximise revenue opportunities in the areas of group reservations, wedding and social events, conferences and events by driving sales leads and increasing conversions
  • Focus on a consistently executed bespoke approach postcontracting for each event and maximize the upselling opportunities
  • Ensure efficient event management & planning of contracted events
  • Be skilled in both the reactive sales and planning responsibilities of the department
  • Versatile and positive in developing and managing customer relationships with a high standard of communication
  • To fully understand the needs of the customer and strive to meet or exceed those expectations at all times
  • Arrange and carry out remarkable Hotel show rounds
  • Participate in hotel promotional activities
  • You will be responsible to sell, plan and support on the day for all weddings and social events
  • Proactively maintain client relationships with existing accounts
  • Maintain accurate, uptodate customer records in the Bookings Systems
  • Ensure professional and efficient utilization of all systems, in line with company best practices and standard operating procedures
  • To know and promote the hotel facilities and also to have the knowledge of our competitors' strengths and weaknesses
  • To efficiently communicate with all HOD, especially: Director of Catering & Sales; Director of Revenue, Rooms Division Manager, F&B Director, Executive Chef

Planning

  • Ensure the Catering Sales (planning) team members are effectively updated on contracted business and generate a culture of high quality standards for relationship building, customer service, selling and upselling techniques, and billing
  • Highlight to the Associate Director of Catering Sales the risks and opportunities linked to the strategy in place based on guest feedback
  • Focus on a consistently executed bespoke approach for each event and maximize the upselling opportunities
  • Have good knowledge of menus to confidently offer suggestions to clients and maximising revenue for the department
  • Plan and manage the event from the contract stage to the postevent call, ensuring: Client satisfaction, Hotel and company standards are followed, and profitability is maximised
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly reports with the guidance of the Associate Director of Catering Sales;
  • Maintain accurate records of the payments schedules, invoicing and commissions for all the groups and events bookings;
  • Ensure accurate, uptodate customer records in Hilton Bookings Systems;
