At PSS, we've got an important job to do; and that's to help people make the most of their lives.

Whether you're working directly with the people who use our services, or behind the scenes in one of our offices, every day you'll be helping to make other people feel happier, healthier and more supported.

We're a social enterprise or, as we like to call it - a 'business with a heart'. This means that all the money we make goes back into finding new ways to help people.

Our aim is simple; we want to help people change their lives for the better - no matter what life throws at them.

We've got offices across Merseyside, Wales, Manchester and the Midlands, where we're making our stamp.

What's our Strengthening Families service all about?

Our strengthening families service bring people together who've experienced the devastating reality that substance misuse and/or imprisonment has on the whole family.

They work with children, parents and grandparents, supports parents and carers to build positive and lasting bonds with their babies; by helping them enjoy life together and addressing any little worries so they don't become bigger ones or supports parents and carers to develop strong and healthy relationships with their babies; keeping them safe and helping them enjoy life together.

They get to know families in a safe environment, where they can find new strength and encouragement and support them to cope better with all that they've been through.

It's about helping them to see a shinier, happier new future. That's what everyone deserves, after all.

Our team are genuine, big-hearted, open-minded, determined and professional.

What you'll do:

If you're successful, your main responsibility will be in supporting the teams with a range of administrative activity ensure the effective co-ordination and delivery of high-quality support to the people that use our services.

In a nut-shell you'll look after:

  • The organisational admin stuff
- working with the team leaders and service managers, looking after the day to day running of the office and keeping things smooth.

  • The high precision stuff
- making sure all our important data is logged, everything is organised and we're efficient and switched on.
