Positive Futures Homes are recruiting Bank Residential Support Workers to join our team. The home offers care and support for three children, young people who are supported 24/7 by their staff team

We care for children, young people age 5 to 17, with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties in a homely, loving environment

As a Bank Support Worker you will working along side an experienced member of our care team, reporting to the Registered Manager and senior care staff.

We provide a high standards of care to our children, young people and our home is Ofsted rates GOOD and has a full experienced staff team who are long standing in post.

This position of bank worker is flexible and you will be offered shifts including sleeps ins, to cover staff annual leave/ sickness and when cover is needed to support children, young people contact and activities

An enhanced DBS is required for working with our children, young people.

The home is based in L9 area of Merseyside

The Role requires,

Supporting the well-being of Children, young person in our care in line with their care plans, ensuring any concerns/ behaviours are addressed sensitively in line with their care planning

Supporting children young people in daily activities, trips out and family contact if required.

Support and encouraging children, young people to engage in Education.

Ensuring their home is kept to a high standard of cleanliness at all times

Prepare meals for children, young people and enjoying meals times with them in a family environment

Experienced preferred, experience in school, nurseries, youth engagement, voluntary roles and parental responsibility will be taken into consideration.

Salary:
£10.90-£11.40 per hour


Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Walton: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

- care: 1 year (preferred)

• Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence preferred (preferred)
