Overview of Role
A great opportunity has arisen for someone with experience in accounts software, preferably Xero, and has bookkeeping level competency. The ability to use Microsoft Excel and its advanced features is important. The role will also require general administration and filing within the Accounts department.

You will be working as part of a small team sometimes independently to oversee and support all areas of the financial management of the Club making this a varied and challenging role.

Days and timings to be agreed within the finance team but there is some flexibility. Office hours are 08:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

  • Data entry, accounting & bank reconciliation.
  • Reconcile daily takings.
  • Suppliers and customers invoices.
  • Assist with reception duties and enquiries at busy times.
  • Monthend accounts: accruals, Provide Xero reports for GM and Treasurer.
  • Prepare Invoices for sponsorship and room/land rental.
  • Maintain fixed assets register.
  • Prepare VAT Return Calculations. Make online return and payments.
  • Year End accounts preparation.
  • Assist the GM with procurement such as utilities, service contracts, and other businessrelated contracts/lease agreements.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 24-30 per week
