Description
We are looking to appoint an Apprentice Finance Assistant within our busy finance team.

The role will provide the opportunity for someone who has a genuine interest in finance and looking to start their career in a role that will be varied, and you will be provided 'on-the-job' training to support your AAT apprenticeship studies.


While a head for numbers is essential the role is also about delivering a service by having exceptional interpersonal skills, Educated to A level or equivalent (Entry to AAT Level 2 or 3) and have good problem-solving abilities in order that you can respond to queries that may arise within the department.

Duties will include, but are not limited to;

  • Support the Trusts daytoday financial administration including filing, scanning and photocopying.
  • Undertake transactional finance processing such as the creation of purchase orders, receiving goods and services, and entering invoices and expenses claims under the direction of the Accounts Manager.
  • Continue to develop your own skills by attending training courses as deemed necessary.
  • To undertake such other duties and tasks as may lie within the scope of this post to ensure the effective delivery and development of the service.
  • To support the finance team with yearend and audit processes.

Salary:
National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage rates apply


Working hours: 37 hours per week, full time, all year
