GMP Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client in Evesham for a Trainee Electrical Technician to join their ever growing and highly successful business, on a full time, permanent contract.


Our client is a lead manufacturer of agriculture machinery and they manufacture and service bespoke machinery on site, providing industry forward equipment and machinery for domestic and export markets.


We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join their Installations team to assist with the assembly of the electric gates that they supply and instal.

A little experience with electrics would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.

Trainee Electrical Technician main duties:

  • Installation of new gates and gate automation systems
  • Upgrading existing gate automation systems
  • Support with the Installation of a gate system from start to finish
  • Fault finding of gate automation systems
  • Installation & fault finding on Intercom Systems
Trainee Electrical Technician desired skills and experience

  • Electrical experience desired and preferred but not essential
  • Willing to learn and work hard in a team
  • Can deliver great customer service and work to tight deadlines
  • Organised and an effective communicator
  • Happy working outdoors
  • Must have driving license and access to a car


The successful Trainee Gate Technician will be based onsite at Evesham, but from time to time may join the Senior Technicians off site for installations.

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of £11-12 p/h which is demonstrable with previous experience.
