Description

We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work with Profs.

Michael Dustin and Matthew Higgins as part of a collaborative research team spanning the Immunological Synapse Lab at the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology and the Laboratory of Molecular Parasitology in Biochemistry.

Your primary responsibility will be to carry out research on the biophysics of inhibitory receptors on immune cells in the context of immune evasion by Plasmodium falciparum protozoan parasites.

You will hold a relevant DPhil, together with relevant experience, and possess specialist knowledge in fluorescence microscopy, fluorescence correlation spectroscopy, immunology, parasitology and biophysics.

An excellent communicator, you will have the ability to write for publication, present research proposals and results, and represent the research group at meetings.
