Office Assistant at Green Giraffe in London

Are you an all-round Office Assistant? Do you like overseeing multiple workstreams in parallel and doing an excellent job while having fun at work at the same time? Are you a people person and like to work in an international environment?

You will be responsible for assisting the Office Manager who oversees all the logístical organisation of the London office life and supporting her, when need be, in managing certain workstreams.

In this context, you will cover a wide range of tasks and topics such as:

  • Managing daily the workload and performance of the London office together with the Office Manager
  • Ensuring a smooth management of the office life
  • Plan and coordinating regular team events (annual offsite weekend trips, regular onsite drinks/dinner/lunches/barbecues, etc.) to keep on fostering a friendly and agreeable work environment for the whole team
  • Managing all travel bookings for our giraffes
  • Maintaining the office in good working conditions for everyone's wellbeing
  • Contributing to any office management administrative tasks required and supporting the Office Manager in her role
  • Organising wellbeing items and business cards for the new giraffes
  • Assist with the new office search and setting up in the new location
  • Managing and organising all post and courier queries
  • Organising the office layout and order stationery and equipment
  • Purchasing food for the office (fruits & weekly shopping) and maintaining the kitchen
This position is to be filled on a part-time but permanent contract basis with 25 hours per week, starting as soon as practicable, with a compensation package competitive with local market practice (30 paid leave days per full-time, company-sponsored pension, transportation compensation, lunch provision, annual team trips, etc.)

About the International Finance and Accounting team
You will be part of our admin team (approx. 10 people worldwide).

You will be mainly working for the London office, though there will be international (travel) opportunities as well to/with other Green Giraffe offices across the globe.

This new position is a result of recent company growth - and we do not plan to stop here
