UK Road Tanker Inspection (UKRTI) are the UK's leading road tanker inspection company and are part of the British Engineering Services Group.
What will I be doing?
You will work on your own or as a member of a team to carrying out inspections on road tanker vehicles, ensuring that they meet the relevant regulations.
The role will involve travel to client sites, usually with in the South East however there will be a requirement for further travel and some overnight and overseas trips.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- You will be required to prepare equipment, carry out inspections and minor maintenance on a variety of road tanker vehicles and associated machinery
- This is a customer facing role and will require you to liaise with and advise customers on their inspections, any issues and any recommendations
- Completion of all works in a timely manner; this includes all reports and administration
- Following standards and procedures and complying with all legal regulations and health and safety standards
- Helping to prolong the life of road tankers by spotting any potential defects as early as possible
- Always providing an exceptional level of customer service, whilst representing our brilliant company professionally
Don't worry, if you are successful we will provide you with an initial 3 month training period, with both theoretical and practical components.

What experience do I need?
You will need:
- A Level 3 engineering qualification and a good level of practical experience
- Hands on experience servicing, repairing, or inspecting vehicles
- A thorough understanding of ADR, PSSR, and CDG regulations
- The ability to communicate complex and technical problems with ease
- A full driving license
- A flexible approach
- A good level of IT and literacy skills in order to complete detailed customer reports.
