JOB - Account Manager - ManufacturingLOCATION - Romford
TERM- PermanentSALARY - £30,000 - £40,000 per annum + bonus (dependent on experience)**We are looking for a Account Engineer on a permanent basis in the Romford area with experience in the Manufacturing Industry, ideally food, FMCG or other forms of Consumer Goods. Your main duties will include managing large volume UK and international accountsas well as gaining new business.


The Account Manager will ideally have the following attributes:


  • Experience as a Sales Engineer, Account Manager or similar position within a manufacturing business.
  • Previous experience within a business to business (B2B) role.
  • Experience within a FMCG, food or similar consumer / retail goods industry.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Have the ability to communicate with other members of staff and management.
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team.
  • Familiar with IT skills / Microsoft Office systems.

The Account Manager role will involve:

  • Speaking with customers and clients on a daily basis to manage large volume orders.
  • Meeting with clients on site both new and existing to build and develop relationships.
  • Attending trade shows to seek new business along with maintaining current relationships.
  • Manage the process from initial enquiry through to proposal and order acceptance.
