I am currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Finance Officer to join a lovely team based in Liverpool. This is Maternity cover for approximetely 12 months.

The main purpose of this role is to directly support the Director of Business, Finance and Operations (DBFO) with all matters relating to finance, income generation and general operations.

Hours: 8:15- 4:30pm, 35 hours pw, term time

Duties:

Preparing the budget
Lead on the day to day operations of finance and oversee the work of the team.
Authorisation of expenditure and processing of invoices within the financial system.
Reconciliation of the monthly credit card statement.
Processing of journals.
Banking, reconciliation and allocation of all income.
Managing and updating of the asset register.
Managing cash flow via the online banking facility and arranging cheque payments.
Production of monthly monitoring reports to the business manager
Processing and reconciliation of monthly payroll and to work closely with payroll provider
Maintenance of stock control
Submission of relevant financial reports
Assist with the strategic development in various areas including: income generation, procurement and facilities management.
Assist in securing sponsorship funding
Oversee the processing of transactions and ensure planned trips are financially viable.

It is essential that you have experience with SAGE
