Description

• Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards and make adjustments as necessary.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimise production processes.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Record production data and maintain accurate documentation of machine operations.
• Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety procedures.

• Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC milling and turning machines.
• Ability to write and edit programs in G code is desirable.
• Experience with Fanuc and Siemensbased CNC systems preferred.
• Experience with XYZ machine tools is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Previous experience in a precision manufacturing role is desirable.
• Apprenticeship or equivalent experience in an Engineering discipline is preferred.
