Renal & Melanoma Cancer
The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust has an international reputation for high quality patient care, education and research and its partnership with the Institute of Cancer Research has created the largest comprehensive cancer centre in Europe.
Our Translational research portfolio is run in collaboration with the Cancer Dynamics Laboratory under the leadership of Prof Samra Turajlic, based in the Frances Crick Institute.
The post will be based in the Melanoma Research Unit which operates at both the Sutton and Chelsea sites of the Royal Marsden Hospital.
In order to fulfil the responsibilities of this post you must be eligible for full GMC registration, have a National training number (NTN) in the relevant specialty (medical, clinical oncology, gastroenterology or haematology) and MRCP equivalent.
The post-holder will play a critical role within the Renal, Skin and Melanoma oncology trial management team.Every clinical fellow will have some responsibilities to a small number of academic and externally sponsored clinical trials as the "Trial Physician" for named studies; the post holder will focus on translational studies.
