Birmingham Crane Hire are recruiting a Lift Supervisor & Slinger Banksman to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Must have qualifications & skills
Valid CPCS A62 Lift supervisor (Essential)

Valid Blue CPCS A40 Slinger / Signaller card (Essential)

In return we offer competitive rates of pay working a basic FT hours a week with enhanced pay scheme when working around UK.

8 Hrs Standard time, next 4 time and half and anything above at double time.

Job Purpose/Objective:

To provide a high-quality lifting service to our customers ensuring priority is given to the safety of employees, customers and the public.

Key Responsibilities:

Work to manufacturer's instructions at all times.

Adhere to road traffic regulations.

Ensure PPE is worn at all appropriate times

Set and check the functioning of the rated capacity limiter and rated capacity indicator.

Perform the correct use of manual handling i.e. Lift Plans.

Liaise with Site Manager/Project Manager upon arrival on site.

Be able to resist pressures from other persons to carry out unsafe operations.

Be aware of the effects of wind and other climatic effects on the crane and load.

Able to take the action to avoid dangerous situations, including stopping operations.

Access and depart the crane by safe use of ladders and lifts.

Strong knowledge of road traffic regulations Skills/Abilities


Qualifications:

Valid Drivers Licence (Essential)

Valid CPCS A62 Lift supervisor (Essential)

Valid Blue CPCS A40 Slinger / Signaller card (Essential)
