Are you a motivated and customer-focused professional with a passion for sales?

This role will be working with Jewson,
Hinchley Wood

This is a permanent full-time position.

You would be working at the branch Monday to Friday 7:00am-16:30pm and 8:00am-12:00pm every other Saturday.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, driving sales, building strong and lasting relationships through excellent service and product knowledge
Respond to customer inquiries promptly, providing accurate information and guidance on our product range, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules
Identify customer needs and offer appropriate solutions, upselling and crossselling products to maximize sales opportunities
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using our internal systems
Proactively follow up on quotations, leads, and sales opportunities to achieve sales targets
Collaborate with the external sales team to provide seamless customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
Keep uptodate with industry trends, new products, and competitor offerings to effectively position our products in the market
Actively contribute to sales meetings, sharing customer feedback, and suggesting improvements to enhance the sales process
Maintain accurate and organized customer records, including contact details, order history, and communication logs

Requirements:

Previous experience in a sales role within the builders merchant industry or a related field is highly desirable
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and understand their requirements
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Selfmotivated and resultsoriented, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
