Description

Ontic, an aerospace industry leading provider of 'Extended Life Solutions' for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, has an opportunity for a Final Release Inspector to join our Quality Assurance team based in Staverton in a new role which has been created to support our continued success and ambitious growth plans.

What you'll be doing

You'll undertake the necessary final quality inspections on Ontic parts and assemblies. You'll ensure compliance with company, industry and customer standards to enable sign off for airworthiness release or conformity certificate.

You'll raise Material Reject Reports (MRRs) for identified defects and work with Quality, Operations and Engineering teams to resolve defects to enable shipment of product.

What you'll already have


Ideally you will possess inspection experience across a variety of product types such as a electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical and gaseous products.

You'll be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of industry standards such as AS9100, BS EN ISO9001:2008 and EASA Part 21 release.

You'll be able to perform inspections using a variety of measuring tools and devices.

You'll be comfortable utilising Technical Documentation such as test reports, build documentation and assembly drawings. You'll have a good awareness of traceability and knowledge of raising MRRs and non-conformity reports.

This is a full time position working 37 hours per week in line with our production hours; 8 hours Monday-Thursday and 5 hours on a Friday.

We operate a flexible start time between 7am-9am.
