This is an exciting opportunity for a hardworking and resilient individuals to join an expanding team to ensure that the Council meets its statutory duties towards applicants for council housing and homeless applicants.
Ideally with an understanding of working in the sector, you will have knowledge of housing environment and demonstrate an understanding of the needs and vulnerabilities of households and individuals.
Forming part of a wider Statutory Housing Solutions service you will create a friendly customer focussed service that aims to ensure the housing needs of our residents and tenants are met in the best and most suitable way.
You will be required to provide support to the Homelessness Prevention team and other parts of the service from time to time.
We are looking for individuals that naturally possesses the personality and characteristics that will enable you to contribute towards providing excellent customer service for vulnerable people with care, compassion and understanding.
Training will be provided to ensure that your integration into the team will be phased and managed to best suit your skills and also the needs of the team.
Good written and oral communication and negotiation skills are needed together with being proficient in IT.
