One of my lovely, established family accountancy practices is looking for an experienced bookkeeper on a part-time flexible hours basis to suit, or full-time, which will incorporate you managing some Bradford manufacturing client accounts with daily/monthly bookkeeping and payroll.


The client offers flexible home working if desired, they are open to hours from part to full time, it's really about finding the right experience and fit for the team and the culture of this friendly and open office accounts team.

Bookkeeping and payroll for various clients will include, HMRC processes, monthly client expenditures using Dext & QuickBooks _(both of which are easily trainable for you haven't used them before.)_

  • The role consists of mainly ensuring all customer and supplier payments are approved for them.
Answering invoice queries with customer accounts and investigating payments - credits.

  • BACS allocation
  • Cheque allocation.
  • Use of Dext & Quickbooks.
  • Credit Control customer service and debt management of accounts if needed
  • Auto entry monitoring of client accounts keeping them up to date.
  • Managing client receipts and payments.
  • Payroll for some clients.


I am looking for someone that will be able to work on their own initiative, as well as being a team player, have a sound working knowledge of bookkeeping/accounting and payroll, confident IT skills, and the drive to exceed my clients' expectations.
