Our client is a professional services business based in Central London.

The new hire will need to be hands-on and happy working in a growing SME environment with a broad range of duties.

The Finance Manager will be charged with growing and developing a lean function alongside an FD.

This hire will be working closely to implement change and new processes into the business as they continue to grow and join on an initial 6 months basis witha view to a permanent role.

The business currently operates in the UK, Europe & US and look to hire ambitious, entrepreneurial individuals.

As the Finance Manager you will be expected to partner, and work closely with other areas of the business to drive good practice and help thebusiness scale for growth.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

  • Day to day running of the finance dept alongside the FD
  • Create a standardised Month end reporting pack alongside the FD
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and analysis
  • P+L and Balance sheet
  • Management of the team both in the UK and offshore
  • Review and analysis of the monthend accounts to be fed back to the stakeholders
  • Creating new reporting packs & models for forecasting
  • Cash flow management and forecasting
  • Project based work to implement internal systems and technologies for the business
  • Oversight of the Payroll, Billing and Credit Control process for the business
  • Oversight of the Accounts Payable function (expenses, reconciliations etc)
  • Treasury & Cash Flow Management
  • KPI and Sales performance reporting
  • Ad hoc reports and analysis
  • Business partnering with wider support team on a daily basis
Skills required

  • Qualified or Studying Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with at least 2 years' post qualification experience or QBE
  • Team management experience is desirable
  • Advanced Excel skills (V/HLUs, Pivots etc)
  • Commercially minded finance professional
  • Confident and coherent communication skills
  • Experience of handling senior stakeholders relationships
  • Passionate about technology & processes within a finance function
