They are looking for a Talent Development Advisor to support with the planning and effective delivery of their people development strategy at our client, with a view to facilitating a learning culture with a clear return on investment.

Your day-to-day

  • Support with the delivery of all development activities such as training, career development, talent mapping and equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) initiatives.
  • Manage the training coordination, communications and daytoday logistics of their training programmes.
  • Deliver engaging daytoday inhouse training across their Club.
  • Draw on specialist knowledge to ensure all training content and development initiatives are inclusive and resonate across all their diverse business departments and multiple sites.
  • Act as the key user of their online learning platforms, managing their use while looking for ways to increase their efficiency.
  • Manage the employee engagement surveying process and provide support on subsequent action plans.
  • Support with continuous and iterative training needs analysis process.
  • Work collaboratively to create and maintain an internal people managers' resource library.
  • Help to deliver specific L&D objectives of the Premier League Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Standard (PLEDIS) and wider EDI ambitions.
  • Track the success of learning and development solutions in order to continuously improve learning initiatives.
What they are looking for

  • A relevant learning and development qualification (e.g. CIPD L&D, ILM Coaching) OR comparable working experience.
  • Experience in a talent development role, within a fast paced, customercentric environment such as leisure, retail, media or sport.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering and facilitating training sessions across multiple topics and to stakeholders of varying levels of seniority.
  • Full understanding of, and experience supporting with, full holistic learning cycle activities (training needs assessment, design, delivery, evaluation for ROI).
  • Experience leading on training coordination, communications and daytoday logistics.
  • Project management and planning skills accrued either supporting on a large talent development initiative or leading on a selfcontained, smaller scale project.
  • Clear and concise communicator who has the insight and ability to tailor their message according to their audience.
  • Very strong relationship building and influencing skills.
  • Enjoys looking externally for inspiration and keeping their knowledge of the industry uptodate.
