At Twinkl Scotland, we pride ourselves on creating quality content for all ages and stages of Scottish education.

From ELC, through Primary and now into Secondary, we aim to provide content that engages learners and supports Scottish educators in getting it right for every child.

Due to the expansion of our product range for Scotland we are now looking for someone to lead our established CfE product.

Our CfE product contains over 15,000 resources, covering all curricular areas across Early, First and Second levels.

We are looking for someone with a passion and vision for Scottish education who can continue to develop this successful product.

You will be leading a large production team of writers, editors, designers and illustrators and identifying priorities for the team that reflect current educational initiatives.


Ongoing projects/how you'll spend your day:

  • Ideate, plan and develop a vision for Curriculum for Excellence teaching and learning resources.
  • Sprint planning for your product and preparing and delivering monthly product reviews.
  • Being the point of contact for all production team members on your product and working as part of an agile working team to achieve sprint goals.

To succeed in the role, you will:

  • Ensure high quality content and customer satisfaction
  • Use data and customer insights to inform current and future product planning
  • Work through the Product and Services Roadmap (PSR) to ensure the development of our CfE product.

In this role, you will learn:

  • A greater understanding of agile working practises
  • How to spot data trends to drive decisions
  • Understanding pain points affecting our customers and identifying ways of addressing these
  • Reporting on product performance and creating a product strategy
  • Overseeing the product journey and communicating this with stakeholders
  • Researching and developing innovative concepts within the market

You'll work with:


  • Collaborating with the Scotland team, other Product Owners, customerfacing teams and key areas of the business


  • Your product team

  • Content Writers, Editors, Designers and Illustrators.

Requirements:

We're interested in anyone who meets a combination of the following:

  • 5 Years teaching experience within The Curriculum for Excellence
  • Sound knowledge of CfE across Early, First and Second levels
  • Thorough and uptodate knowledge of key strategies and policy drivers within Scottish education
  • Experience of working within an agile product team, with secure knowledge of the production process
  • Experience of delivering projects; from ideation through to completion
  • Be an effective listener and communicator
  • Be able to present the work completed and the detail in the value the product provides
  • Ability to spot trends and be comfortable acting upon them
  • Is organised, able to work to deadlines, a good communicator and manages time effectively
  • Essential for remote working
