St Peter's Preparatory School, Lympstone, is one of the most successful and forward-looking independent preparatory schools in the South West, awarded Excellent in all categories in our most recent ISI Inspection (March 2020), and we pride ourselves on outstanding learning support.


We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in our Early Years setting and, as required, across the school (ages 3 to 13).


A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification is an essential requirement for the post and we will be unable to consider applicants without this.

A current Paediatric First Aid qualification and experience of working in an Early Years setting are both advantageous, but not mandatory, requirements.

Additional experience of working in other age groups up to age 13 is advantageous, as is an interest in and experience of EYFS outdoor education.


The role is full-time, term-time only, working Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00 with a 30-minute unpaid break each day.

The salary is £18,000 per annum, including statutory paid holiday entitlement, and will be paid in twelve equal monthly instalments.
