**About the role

SEN Teaching Assistant**You will be working with students with special educational needs within this primary school's SEN provision. Students have a variety of needs including Autism Down Syndrome and speech and language needs. You will be working within the classroom as well asobserving play either on a 11 basis with students or working with students of similar needs in small group settings. Your role will require you to help students engage in their studies, to get hands on with students in play based lessons and to provide personalcare as required. Due to the needs of the students and their schedule we require individuals who are available fulltime for this role.

The school is based in Edmonton within the London Borough of Enfield and is easily accessible by a large number of buses and London Overground lines.

They are a mixed mainstream primary school that have an SEN resource base on site that provides additionalsupport to students primarily with Autism.

Here students are encouraged to be fully integrated with their peers within mainstream classes and are supported to make the most of their abilities and overcome all challenges they may face both within educationand in the outside world.
