Oxford's first and only Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) partners with the NHS to provide diagnostic servies to Oxford's community. Based at Perspectum's HQ on the Business Park we are looking to expand our growing team


We are looking for enthusiastic, committed, dynamic individuals to join our team who will have a keen interest in putting patients first and ensuring each patient receives the best care when visiting our Diagnostics Centre.


As a member of the Healthcare team in this role you will support and work closely with registered practitioners to deliver a high standard of care to patients in a safe and supportive environment without the need for direct supervision.

To work as part of the wider team in developing and maintaining services provided to patients and contribute to the safe, efficient and smooth running of the CDC.

This will be undertaken whilst maintaining the dignity and privacy of all patients and respect their right to confidentiality.

To complete and maintain on an ongoing basis a generic and specific portfolio of clinical competencies and/or Care Certificate as required.


Day to day your duties will include preparing patients, equipment and the environment for clinical activities whilst supporting and reassuring them.

Closely monitoring patients having undergone clinical activity ensuring their safety, comfort and wellbeing is an important part of this role.

You will demonstrate clinical competence in order to carry out minor dressings and treatment as specified and recognise when conditions change to seek advice from registered practitioners.

Providing clinical observations and escalating when necessary will be key to this role as well as taking part in initial assessments of patients under supervision.

You will also obtain specimens as requested such as Mid-Stream Urine, stool, sputum, Urine analysis, and any more specialist specimen as directed by the registered practitioner ensuring accurate labeling and transportation as per policy.


This is a full time role where shifts will be 12 hours across 7 days a week (7am-7pm) based on the Cowley Business park with free parking.
