MotorAid Ltd is a Premier independent German car specialist since 1996, servicing and maintaining our customer's German cars at two locations in Essex; Basildon and Hainault.

Located at Basildon is also our Commercial vehicle garage that takes care of all makes of vans, trucks and trailers.

In January 2015 we have started up our in house Body Repair Centre, with full repair capabilities to deal with minor scratches to major accident repairs, most recently becoming part of the Fix Auto Body repairers Network.

We are recruiting for:

Due to our ongoing growth and current restructuring we are currently seeking a talented, professional and self motivated Bodyshop Advisor / Claims Handler.

Previous experience in this role or similar is essential.

As a the Main driver for the branch you will be responsible for attending to customer's needs regarding collection and delivery of prestige vehicles to our own high standards.

You must be great communication skills and be able to deal with customers face to face. You must have an excellent driver record with a clean licence. You will have a clean and tidy appearance, the company will provide a uniform.

You will have an exemplary time keeping record and be flexible regarding some after working hours deliveries to fulfil the customer demands.

Roles include ;

• Responsibility for collecting and delivering customers vehicles within agreed timescales, ensuring the customer receives the best possible service on collection and delivery of their car.
• Liaise directly with customer to arrange correct collection and delivery address and appropriate times.
• Complete forms on digital device to indicate and damage on vehicle, gain a signature from customer for vehicle and/or our Courtesy Vehicle.
• Supports team members in the allocation of work and in meeting targets.
• Liaises with Bodyshop Team regarding any additional defects or damage identified on the vehicle on collection or prior to return.
• Carry out daily/weekly checks on courtesy vehicle and complete necessary paperwork.

When not collecting vehicles you will be required to assist with general workshop cleaning and tidying duties in and around the department this will may also include cleaning of company vehicles.

Salary:
From £23,000.00 per year

Experience:

- delivery driver: 1 year (preferred)
