The position of Accounts Receivable Assistant is a Junior/Trainee role within our Toxicology Finance Function located in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
The role will include training and working in all areas of accounts receivable from cash allocation, invoicing through to credit control.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurate processing and allocation of receipts, following up on missing remittance advices.
- Outgoing calls to customers to ensure payment of invoices
- Manual processing of invoices & credit notes, across different workflows in different systems.
- Monitoring invoices raised from 'automatic' systems
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:
- Excel skills
- Use Outlook, able to monitor and respond from multiple inboxes, attach documents, and maintain a 'tidy' account.
- Excellent IT skills, with the confidence to interrogate multiple systems.
- Friendly and confident telephone manner.
- A selfmotivated individual who is able to prioritize workload.
- Hands on approach to problem solving.
- Able to work to deadlines, with the ability to organize and prioritize
