Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a reliable, hard-working Reception Teacher to join this Primary school based in Croydon. This is a full-time role, and the salary will be outer London scale.


This 2-form entry Primary school is recognised in the area as a place for excellence which is driven by the Headteacher.

The school is a place where children achieve highly compared to national expectations.

The Head is very proud of the school and whatthey do and has high expectations of both staff and students to ensure high quality work.

We are looking for a Reception teacher that can:

  • Deliver learning through play and real experiences.
  • Help the school to continue at an Outstanding level
  • Continue delivering the exciting curriculum that engages and excites the students
  • Be a role model for these students and part take in quality interactions.


This is a role to work as a Reception Teacher for a full-time contract at a school rated 'Good' by OFSTED.


The school is based in Croydon It is accessible by driving and the car park has space for all staff.

There is a bus stop outside the school and this takes 15 minutes from the nearest station.

To join us and be successful in this Reception Teacher role you will need to:

  • Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
