Our client are an international supplier of automated conveying and material handling systems, they provide a range of conveyors, sortation, automated storage and retrieval systems.

They are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join their growing teamin the Nottingham area.


Role and Responsibilities - Electrical Project Engineer
This role will involve working within the controls department to be responsible for:

  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
  • Analise technical drawings, interpreting specifications and determining the electrical requirements of a given project are in line with the mechanical design
  • Ensure all electrical testing is completed
  • Coordinate with designers/thirdparty contractors/commission engineers that all final documentation is provided to the project manager for final handover

Experience or Qualifications - Electrical Project Engineer

  • Experience of automation installation projects, within automated logistics would be preferable, however factory automation would also be considered
  • Good understanding of PLC's, SCADA and HMI would be preferable
  • Capability of UK wide travel
