About The Role:

The Porter post is a varied role, undertaking a range of delegated duties, including unloading, delivery of stock, and any other general tasks required across Prison Healthcare Service at HMP Isle of Wight.

The role demands a vast amount of physical activity including walking and carrying of loads.


We are looking for individuals who are keen to take on roles with varied duties, supporting the delivery of excellent healthcare to prisoners.

You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to work as a team member.


About You:


The successful applicant will join an enthusiastic and dynamic team looking after the overall health needs of a population of around 1100 prisoners shared between two sites.

You'll receive an annual salary up to £22,900 per annum (pro-rata).
