Position Project Manager

Location Coventry

Salary £70,000 - £75,000 + package

Our Client

One of our Main Contracting clients are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their ever-growing build department working on large industrial/logistics project within Coventry.

This is looking after a large Industrial Unit construction, valuedat £12m.

Daily duties/key responsibilities
The role requires a Project Manager competent in setting up sites from the pre construction phase to completion.

You will be responsible for project managing the site with an experience team and continue to carry on within a visiting role.

Management of designers, including providing direction for the Design Manager.

Ensure materials, plant and sub-contractors are procured to meet targets,

Ensure quality is achieved on site.

Review Health & Safety and investigate incidents, providing summaries and recommendations.

Maintain overall strategy for the project.

Develop plans to achieve specific goals.

Monitor the progress of construction activities on a regular basis.

Manage aspirations of client and end users.

Develop relationships for the future winning work.

Experience & Benefits
You will have a proven track record in the delivery of projects valued up to £75m in value.

Therefore, you will be asked at interview to demonstrate what involvement you have had at this stage with previous projects you have managed.

Ideally, you will beprofessionally qualified either HNC/HND, BSc, Degree in a relevant construction discipline preferably Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

MCIOB would be advantageous but not essential. A main contractor background is preferred. SMSTS, 1st Aid & BlackCSCS Card as a minimum.

Also, working on large industrial projects is a must.
