As one of the United Kingdom's largest coastal resorts, Blackpool has plenty to offer its residents - it's not just a good place to work; it's a great place to live.

In addition to its bustling centre and historic seafront, the town is world famous for its many attractions, including the famous Blackpool Tower.

Blackpool also offers several scenic cycling routes round our local parks and across the surrounding countryside, as well as boasting panoramic views of the coast on its picturesque Promenade.

Further afield, Blackpool also benefits from less than three-hour connections via rail to Edinburgh in the north and London in the south.

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a large, integrated provider of acute and community services to the 445,000 population of the Fylde coast health economy and the estimated 11 million visitors to the seaside town of Blackpool.

With patients and families at the heart of all we do, we are committed to creating a culture that empowers our staff and inspires us all to deliver first class clinical care.

We form a central part of the Healthier Fylde Coast Integrated Care Partnership and our progressive approach to partnership working in the area provides an enviable opportunity to redesign and deliver services that meet the challenges of today's health system.

We are not underestimating the challenges facing today's health system but believe there are the foundations here in Blackpool to deliver truly excellent, integrated services that can make a major impact on the lives of the thousands of people we serve.

We recommend that all individuals employed in patient facing roles, or those located on a ward or department where patients receive a service should be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

We are happy to offer flexible hybrid working combining both office and remote working for clinical and non-clinical activity. There is some face to face work as well as video and telephone calls.
