The Engineering & Manufacturing sector relies heavily on engineering operations, allowing employers to grow their business while developing a workforce with relevant skills and knowledge.


In the course of their training, they will gain a range of common and job-specific skills that can be transferred across the manufacturing engineering industry sectors.


Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to,

  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety laws, regulations, environmental compliance procedures, and other guidelines.
  • The ability to identify and respond appropriately to hazards, risks, hazardous situations, and problems that may occur in the engineering environment within the boundaries of their responsibilities.
  • Effortlessly communicate, whether orally, in writing, or electronically.
  • Make sure the appropriate documentation is completed accurately, efficiently, and legibly using the correct terminology whenever necessary.
  • Respond appropriately to any problems that arise within the manufacturing environment within their responsibilities.
  • Keep workplaces organized and minimise waste at all times by working efficiently and effectively.

Duration of Apprenticeship:36 Months


Required Qualifications:

Any apprentices undertaking this apprenticeship must possess a valid:

  • Graduation or Diploma in engineering operations (knowledge)
  • Ofqual accredited
  • Level 2 qualified

Job Type:
Apprenticeship


Salary:
£5.00-£8.00 per hour
